About us

A wholesale beer supplier built around the trade

Pine Beverage Supply is the trading name of ISLA PINE LTD, a wholesale distributor of craft beer based in the UK. You buy from us if you run a bar, a taproom, a bottle shop, a restaurant or a small chain of any of those. We hold stock across a range of styles and sell it by the keg, the case and the pallet.

The business started because small venues kept getting pushed towards big-brand lists that did not suit them. You want a house lager that is actually good, a couple of rotating taps with something worth talking about, and a price that leaves room for a margin. That is the gap we work in. We keep the range tight enough to know every line, and wide enough to cover a full bar.

You deal with the same small team each time you order. There is no call centre and no account manager who changes every quarter. When you ring, you speak to someone who knows what you poured last month. Orders placed before midday on a weekday go out the same day where stock allows, and you get a delivery window rather than a whole-day wait.

Craft beer is a perishable product, so we treat dates as seriously as prices. Every keg and case that leaves the yard is checked for best-before and condition. If a line is close to its date, we tell you before you order it rather than after. If something arrives wrong, we replace it on the next run without an argument.

We are a wholesaler, not a brewery. That means we can be honest about the range and carry beer from a number of producers without favouring one. It also means our job is to keep your lines full and your list interesting, week after week, without you having to chase anyone.

If you are opening somewhere new or resetting an existing bar, get in touch before you fix your fridges and lines. We will tell you what actually works at your size, what to skip, and what a sensible opening order looks like. It saves a lot of money later.

Limits

The work we do not take on

We do not sell direct to the public, so every order must come from a licensed trade account with a valid premises licence.
Brewing is not something we do, and we will not put our name on a beer made to a recipe we did not brew.
We do not offer same-day emergency deliveries, because stock has to be picked, chilled and checked before it leaves the yard.
If you need a full bar fit-out with plumbing, electrics and cellar cooling, we will not quote for it, as that work belongs to a fitter.
